City Point Partners is assisting on a number of projects including building out business space, repairing and replacing escalators and elevators, construction of a new urban garden, modernizing executive suites and restrooms, waterproofing the Boston Common Garage and upgrading various building envelope and MEP systems .

Project Description

Encore Boston Harbor is a luxury resort and casino that is under construction and expected to open in 2019. Transportation improvements to the local streets and roadways affected by the casino’s construction are also underway. City Point Partners is providing construction inspection services for these off-site roadway improvements as well as for improvements to the Sullivan Square MBTA Station.

City Point Partners’ Resident Engineers are working closely with the Encore construction team inspecting horizontal utility construction, and ADA compliance, streetscape and sidewalk upgrades.

In support of MITIMCo’s re-envisioning of Kendall Square, City Point Partners is serving as the Resident Engineer and Engineer’s Contract Administrator overseeing all utility construction. Under this contract, existing buildings are being demolished and surface parking lots eliminated to make way for new buildings of varying heights as well as a 7-level parking garage. City Point Partners is coordinating with local utilities, inspecting construction and processing all RFIs and change orders.

The Linden Ponds Retirement Community in Hingham, MA is 21 buildings on 108 acres. Due to growing demand, Erickson is building a new 7-story, 156,000 sf independent living residential facility containing 107 new living units. City Point Partners is serving as the Owner’s Representative overseeing all aspects of construction as well as reviewing pay applications, RFI’s and change order requests, reporting safety violations, reviewing punchlist items and participating in the project closeout process.
